Friendly staff and quick service. Large menu with lots of breakfast and lunch options. The sweet potato hash was a hit.

EmJ is our favorite brunch place in the neighborhood! They have the best egg Benedict - egg poached to perfection and hollandaise sauce done in the right way. Coffee is good too! Expect some wait time on the weekends.

Found this cute little cafe on our Find Me Gluten Free app. They’re very cautious about food allergies. They have a ton of Gf Options so that was a real bonus for us. The food was so good. We had lemon swirl pancakes which were creamy and fluffy - and huge! Make your own omelet was really good. Staff was attentive and friendly. The manager on duty that day was impressive. All employees were constantly doing something. She spoke kindly and encouraged them to and she was so friendly to patrons. It’s worth driving out of your way to stop here. Thanks for a great breakfast!

The "Hangover Sandwich" was delicious! Bacon, egg, cheese and home fries on a long roll. The staff and service were both excellent! (My only complaint was the smell of the restaurant; it smells like some kind of floor cleaner. Fresh baked pie or bread, maybe even scented candles would help. Hopefully this can be fixed.). Thank you!

Fantastic breakfast, hands down, the best in the area for cream chipped beef. I ONLY eat cream chipped beef at 2 locations thus far, and EmJ's in tone of two. They also have fantastic daily specials that I have had and are top-notch. The cinnamon swirl or pumpkin pancakes are delicious. Pricing is average but not too pricy for the quality of food. Down side for me, they do not carry Thomas's English muffins for an egg sandwich, but I have had an egg sandwich on a bagel, and it was 7 out of 10. Parking is not great during peak hours but if you don't mind walking it is fine. Lastly, the size of the restaurant is a little small, but I have never waited more than 10-15 minutes for a table. Overall, EmJ's is my top breakfast pick in the area for me. Remember to get the cream chipped beef. You will NOT be disappointed

Fantastic. We were greeted right away and sat right down on a Saturday 8am. The coffee was fresh and hot. The menu was very large for a breakfast place but I knew I wanted the Carrot Cake Waffle. I mean- come on!!! My dining companion had avocado toast because he's vegan and he gets frustrated with avocados at home so he's happy to order them out and have them be someone else's problem. The waffle was great- with real carrots in it. Warning- it did have raisins. I know that's a deal breaker for some carrot cake people. But the cream cheese drizzle was yummy! The service was quick. The food was great. The place was clean. And the atmosphere was super friendly and chill. Families started to come in as we were leaving - the bunny pancake was apparently a hot menu item. We paid less than 35 including tip. Why go to those other breakfast places like FW or Nudys? This place is great.

My girlfriend and I have been coming to EmJ’s almost every Sunday for a few months now and I feel compelled to share our love for this place with you all! You truly can’t beat service like this. Expect to wait about 10 minutes or so during the breakfast rush, but they move quick. Our names are always remembered and you can tell this place values their patrons and treats everyone with such warm energy. The food also rocks. The Omlettes are the best around and I have a gluten allergy and they have SO many options. One of the waitresses has celiac and has made awesome recommendations to me as well. 10/10 would continue to eat here every Sunday.

An out of the way place that has fantastic food. I had the turkey Ruben (an item not on the menu but if you ask them they can make it. I tried my brother's waffle and it was outstanding l. The item I wanted to try but didn't was the Black Forrest Waffle that is very original and I will try that next time. Very friendly service and reasonable prices .Who can ask for anything more . It was my 1st time there but not my last.
